What Causes Intermittent Bloating And Nausea, Stomach Cramps Which Worsens After Eating?

I have had a reoccurring problem for a few years that when I get too hungry between meals, I feel very bloated, nauseous, and have stomach cramps which only get worse when I eat rather than go away. It doesn t seem to be impacted by the type of food that I eat after getting too hungry. Is there anything I can do to improve this?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to irritable bowel syndrome. I suggest using Simethicone medication medications three times a say to relieve the bloating. I also suggest using daily probiotics. If the symptoms continue, you should consult a gastrologist for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
