What Causes Intermittent Bouts Of Chest Pain?

I ve recently started to experience intermittent bouts of chest pain. I feel SOB, pain and a burning itching sensation with my heart. I have a history of non Hodgkin s lymphoma and intermittent chest pain was one of the symptoms I experienced. However I ve been in remission for five years. Could this possibly be some sort of relapse?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Relapse is unlikely. Other causes like angina or cardiac conditions must be ruled out. An ECG is required as a preliminary investigation. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
