What Causes Intermittent Diarrhea And Light Brown Stool?

I have been having Diarhea often. Sometime occurring every 3 days. My stools are soft and appears mushy. Color of stools are light brown something like toasted bread. Do I have IBS? If I do what can I take to stop this from happening?Could I possibly have colon cancer?

don't think of cancers first of all I think it is an infection take oflox oz 1 tab twice a day 5_7 days with electrolyte older in water use boiled water. in IBS there is alternate constipation and diarrhea
