What Causes Intermittent Discomfort In Right Shoulder At Night?

Hello. I have been having some intermittent discomfort in my right shoulder that seems to show up more during the night. It wakes me up a few times during the night lately. Tonight I woke up having some tingling in my right arm and right hand that feels a bit like when your arm goes to sleep. The tingling then seemed to appear in my right foot as well. I m concerned about how the issues might be related and if the issue with my shoulder is possibly restricting the blood flow to the rest of my arm. Any thoughts? Thank you.

Hi, to answer your question this is more related to your sleeping position since it affects your arm and your leg. If you sleep on your shoulder or your arm you tend to get this kind of sensation. The discomfort will take few days to go after you change your sleeping position. But make sure to see a Neurologist to make sure everything else is alright, and yes your shoulder issue is restricting blood flow to the rest of the arm.Take care & get well soon.
