What Causes Intermittent Dizziness, diarrhea And Vaginal Discharge During Pregnancy?
Hello, I m 23 weeks pregnant tomorrow. On and off for 2-3 days I ve been going dizzy on and off, also today I ve had diarrhoea a couple of times and both times I ve noticed I ve had a lot more discharge aswell (not sure if the two are related) I was wondering if this was normal. It s my second pregnancy and I ve also got back pain. Just looking for some advice. Thankyou

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
Excess vaginal discharge suggests some abnormal stress to uterus might be a strong peristalsis causing loose forceful bowel movement. Still it's essential to assess normality of pregnancy by a gynecologist. Keep yourself well hydrated, take rest. Avoid any physical or psychological stress. Take half a pill of tablet Duadelan with water six hourly. If you feel uterine contractions and rush to hospital.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
