I have an 8 year old tube-fed developmentally delayed/autistic child. Showing low grade fever on and off, nausea (has had a Nissen so can t vomit, but we vent him with his tube extension to empty his tummy). He has been cranky and it s obvious he doesn t feel well. Tube site looks good. He has slept alot but has dark circles under his eyes and his forearms are mottled (he s a very pale child, tanned on his forearms, and that s the only place he s mottled).
