What Causes Intermittent Fever, Fatigue, Excessive Sleeping And Joints Pain?

MY FRIEND HAS BEEN RUNING A FEVER WHICH SEEMS TO COME AND GO. FATIGUED, SLEEPING MOST OF THE TIME, ACHAE JOUINTS ALL OVER. HIS FEVER WAS 100.3 WHEN I LAST CHECKED. HE IS 72 YEARS OLD, THE CONCERN I HAVE WAS HE WAS SICK LIKE THIS LAST WEEK, GOT BETTER FOR A FEW DAYS AND THE SYMPTONS HAVE RETURNED. HE REMOVED A TICK FROM HIMSELF ABOUT A WEEK AGO.

Hello,

Post tick bite condition with fever on an intermittent basis, fatigue, excess sleep and joint pains do suggest possible Lyme disease. He must be approached to consulting physician for:
- Prescription of antibiotics such as Doxycycline or else
- Analgesic like Acetaminophen
- Systemic steroids decision of treating physician
- Maintain hydration with plenty of liquids
- Control of blood sugar
- Investigative profile of blood tests as per the clinical systemic review
