What Causes Intermittent Fever Symptoms?

Hi,
Last Thursday I had a 99 temperature, body aches, tiredness, stuffy nose, sore throat. This lasted for 2 days and then went away. This past Wednesday I woke up with the same symptoms by thursday afternooon they were gone. Good these be allergies or do I still have a virus?

Hi Hillary.
This is flu but a recurrence is suggestive of additional infection by baceria.
I would be wise to take a course of an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines to curtail the future complications .
Take bed -rest, take plenty of oral fluid for an early and complete recovery, otherwise this may become a recurrent problem.
