Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
As per your complain and presentation of symptoms it seems that you are suffering from TEMPOROMANDIBULAR JOINT DYSFUNCTION due to which there are painful jaw movements and along with it there is pain on chewing and headache and
ear pain..
In case if it is a long standing condition there can also be Arthritic changes in the jaw joint leading to pain and difficulty in chewing..
You should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and he can advise you to get a full mouth x-ray done and along with it certain blood tests can be advised in case if
arthritis is diagnosed as a cause..
Once the diagnosis is confirmed treatment can be done according to the cause..
As of now take a
soft diet, avoid excessive mouth opening, warm or cold compresses can help..
For pain you can continue taking
Ibuprofen and
muscle relaxant containing Chlorzoxasone..
Massage the muscles over the jaw joint and the side of face with finger tips for relief by relaxing the muscles..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards..
