What Causes Intermittent Loss Of Vision And Chest Discomfort?

Intermittent loss of vision, feels like a hot flash in my chest and sweat on my upper lip. This last only a few mi nutes. No chest pain. Happens when I am resting, not exercising. I am 80 years old. My blood pressure is normal. What do you think it could be. I am seeing my family MD tomorrow

Hello,

Transient ischemia, there can be degenerative condition of retina. Fundus examination is to be done look for hole tear and peripheral detachment.

Take ECG and consult cardiologist, your age is on higher side exclude diabetes and hypertension. Consult your family physician, and take rest. You can be having neurological problem, so also consult neurologist.

It can be GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux), hyper acidity and indigestion. You can take tablet Unienzyme and Omeprazole.
