General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The gall bladder generally causes pain on the right upper tummy, so in her case, because she has the pain in the lower abdomen, very likely it is not related to the gall bladder.

On the other hand, a visit with the doctor is needed and possibly the doctor may order an ultrasound as well. In this case, he will have a better understanding of the possible cause of her pain.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
