What Causes Intermittent Mild Pain In The Hip Bone?
I have been having a dull pain, feeling tender kind of pain on the front left side of my hip bone, on and off. The pain is not a bone pain. I had a polyp removed a couple of years ago and diagnosed with diverticulosis. I was free of pain for a long time since the removal of the polyp. However, the pain has returned. Apart from being a nuisance, I feel like it may be some thing else. What??? I don t know. Any ideas???
If your hip pain is caused by a muscle or tendon strain, osteoarthritis, or tendinitis, you can usually relieve it with over-the-counter pain medication such as acetaminophen or a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug such as ibuprofen or naproxen.
