What Causes Intermittent Numbness On Cheek, Lip, Chin And Mouth?

About once a week, a small area on my face become numb for about an hour, and it s always in a different are. Areas that have been affected are the left cheek, upper lip, lower lip. right chin, left chin, right side of the mouth. It feels like I ve gotten a shot of novacaine. It might even be swelling a little.

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The numbness over the cheek, lip, chin and mouth can be because of the pressure over the nerves by wisdom tooth or it can occur secondary to trauma resulted in nerve injury. Nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. If it is because of the wisdom tooth, then it has to be removed. If it is because of the nerve injury secondary to trauma then you need to take nerve regenerating drugs like Vitamin B6 and B12.
