What Causes Intermittent Pain In Bottom Of Left Foot?
I have intermittent pain in the bottom of my left foot. It is not bad in the morning when I arise, but gets worse during the day. At times, it is very difficult to walk and putting weight on my foot makes it painful. It doesn t appear to be swollen, hot, or red. What could this be, or what could cause it?
The pain can be due to different possible causes such as : (1) arthritis (2) plantar fasciitis- inflammation of the plantar fascia, this is common (3) tendonitis (4) nerve related pain
You can consider trying anti inflammatory pain medication to see if one of these would help eg naproxen, ibuprofen, cataflam In plantar fasciitis, there are also certain exercises that are recommended.
These can be found online if this is found to be the cause.
You may need to be assessed by your doctor.
I hope this helps
