What Causes Intermittent Pain In Right Abdomen And Light Brown Mucus Discharge In Stool?

I have had upper right abdominal pain just under my ribcage for years on and off, no weight loss or appetite, pain comes and goes but lately more often, my stools have some mucus and a lighter brown, it is irritating, had blood test run on march of 2014 only thing high were my tricliserites, any thoughts.

Its highly recommended that you go for some blood work and an abdominal ultrasound especially of right upper quadrant of abdomen to look for the liver.

Consult your physician for prescription of test for:-
Complete blood count with differentials
HBSAg.AntiHCV
HIV
Renal function tests
Liver function tests


Looks like it may be an ie related to liver. There arw a lot more differentials that may be ruled out on ultrasound of whole abdomen.


Start Fiberall with plenty of water. Keep a good physical activity too.
