What Causes Intermittent Pain Under The Right Rib Cage?

Hi, I have pain in the right side of my stomach just below my ribs that come on suddenly and stays for about 30 seconds maybe 5-10 times a day. This is day three that this has been happening and I have not seen any correlation with time of day or having just eaten. Should I get this checked out?

Hi,

It can be due to two reasons from acid reflux or problems in heart and chest or anemia. You try lansoprazole.

You also stop smoking, avoid beverages, coffee. If it is due to acidity it will relieve if it continues then report to the emergency room for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
