The commonest causes of such throbbing or pulsating pointed to one area headache are one of the following:
Hypertension but yours is well control hence almost ruled out.

Intracranial tumors can present like this and CT scan or MRI of brain can help to confirm or rule these out.
Hence Get all the relevant investigations, clinical evaluation by a Neurologist,
