HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
It is possible that the pain may be due to
neuralgia which is nerve related pain.
This can be temporary or permanent.
It can occur due to different possible causes such as: (A)
vitamin b12 or
folate deficiency
(B)diabetes
(C)liver or
kidney disease
(D)side effect of medication
(E)exposure to toxins
(F)neurological conditions such as
stroke or ms
(G)some autoimmune diseases
(H)infection such as shingles
(I) idiopathic- cause is not known
If it continues or it is bothersome, your doctor can assess you to determine the cause. This would require physical examination and blood tests (levels of vit b12 and folate, diabetes screening, checking liver and kidney)
I hope this helps
