What Causes Intermittent Sharp Pain On The Heart?

I am a seemingly healthy 48-year-old white female. I ve been experiencing an intermittent, prickly sensation in the area of my heart during the last two days. It lasts for maybe 30 seconds. This occurs while at rest and I am not feeling stressed out. Thoughts?

Hi welcome to HCM.
Any chest has to considered of cardiac origin ,unless otherwise proved.I advise you to have a baseline ecg and screening 2 dimensional echo of the heart to detect any regional wall motion abnormalities.Check your blood pressure and keep it under 130/80 mm of Hg.Restrict the intake of coffee.Regular physical exercise for 20 min/day will help.In case of any significant changes in the echo and ecg ,antiplatelet drugs are instituted.Consult your cardiologist at the earliest.
Thank you.
