I have an off and on sharp pain on the right side of back / side area, just above the belt line. Hurts off and on during the day, while moving around. Didn t do anything I can remember to pull anything....it doesn t feel like a pulled muscle because it comes and goes. Any thoughts??

Hello,

Intermittent pain on the back right side which increases on moving around is likely to be due to muscle strain.

I suggest you consult an orthopedician for clinical assessment and thus treatment.

In the meanwhile, you may try pain killer ointment on the site where the pain is maximum.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
