What Causes Intermittent Tremors In The Groin Area And Constipation?

I have an intermittent buzzing/vibrating sensation in my groin. I also have constipation frequently and pressure in my lower abdomen. Intercourse can be painful. My urinary tract had checked out as perfect and a neurologist was not able to find anything either. The groin issue started after I got checked out for the other issues. I also have a spot on my mid spine that seems to swell & becomes sensitive to the touch sometimes. What could this be caused from?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to constipation. The dilation of the rectum and pressure on the pelvic structures can cause discomfort that goes into the pelvic and groin area. So, I recommend to
1 - Increase fiber
2 - Increase fluids
3 - Use of stool softeners like miralax (polyethylene glycol)

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
