What Causes Intermittent Vaginal Bleeding Along With Bad Odour?

I stopped taking depo 2 months ago and l have neva had my periods since l had depo l only had it for 6 months. I got my period last week but it wasnt heavy just 2 days and then 5 days later l started bleeding again and there is a foul smell. The blood is smelling badly. Wat could be the cause of this please help.

I can understand the concern. Foul smelling vaginal bleeding is a sign of presence of infection in the vaginal tract, ovaries, uterus or fallopian tubes. Probably the infection was the reason that you were not getting periods and now you are facing symptoms of untreated infection.

I would advise you to visit your gynecologist for the physical examination and finding out the source of infection. You might have to undergo investigations like blood tests and sonogram. Based on the test results, treatment can be decided. You might have to go for antibiotic course.
