Hi Doctor Unfortunately I had a miscarriage of 5.6 weeks pregnancy on july 1st 2017.. Our family doctor said will bleed for two weeks ... but I bleeded only for a week... and there was a gap of one week... and then again started to bleed heavily this week... july 19th onwards.. Is it a usual ? or any abnormalities ?

Hi I think you should get a ultrasound done to see of there are any retained products of pregnancy or not. If there are no products, you can take some antibiotics and tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding. If product is there, you may need a surgical evacuation. Hope it helps.
