Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I had surgery last week Tuesday February 23 due to internal bleeding, which they are not fully sure of the source...it could have been an eptopic pregnancy, they say...but no rupture or actual damage to fallopian tubes. I had a cyst, which gradually reduced in size...I still have a lot of pain, nausea and almost feel dazed most of the time. I am really frustrated at the lack of answers or help I am getting & I have Great insurance...can you tell me why I may have this internal bleeding and show no cause or source from where the blood was coming....who is to say it will not resurface, or is and that is why I still have pains and feel ill..?? steph

What Causes Internal Bleeding In The Uterus?
Hello Welcome to HCM Thanks for asking a question I will be glad to answer it for you It can be any reason as you said, ectopic or rupture of cyst. The most probable cause could be a Hemorrhagic cyst ruptured. It is difficult to say the cause when the doctors who opened for the surgery could find the exact cause. But, you need to be alert. When you have a suspicion of internal bleeding, you need to go the hospital immediately, get an ultrasound abdomen done. Hope this helps Best Regards Dr Chaithanya
