What Causes Internal Bleeding Post An Eptopic Preganancy?

Hi, I had an eptopic preganancy in March 2011, I had a laporoscopy, but the eptopic was too big to remove, so the surgeon did a Laparotomy and removed the eptopic pregnancy and also my right fallopian tube and stopped the internal bleeding. Since the operation, I have had no comfort in my lower stomach, i have constant pain which is a dull and heavy pain, i also have bad swelling and foul smelling discharge which can be thick or thin and watery, it is sometimes both yellowish and green and my stomach is alway sore around the scar area where the laparotomy was done. Also, I am constantly getting up through the night to urinate. What could this all be caused by? Thank you.

I am indeed sorry for the sufferings you are having. It seems that you have developed an infection. You should have mentioned from where is the discharge. If the discharge is from the scar, then show it to your surgeon and he will decide whether it needs cutting or can be controlled only by antibiotics.
However, from the other symptoms you are having, it seems you have developed the infection inside your abdomen and the discharge is coming out from the vagina. This infection is giving you pain in abdomen. If it is so, please do not waste time and immediately report to your obstetrician who operated on you. He/she will assess you and put you on the antibiotics. If any further intervention like draining the pus or any other is needed, he/she will do the procedure.
Before putting you on antibiotics, your discharge may be required to be tested for identification of the bacteria and to find out they are sensitive to which bacteria (Culture & Sensitivity).
Also, the other factor which may be responsible for the pain in your abdomen could be development of the adhesions inside the abdomen. The obstetrician only can take a decision depending the severity of your pain whether any intervention for clearing the adhesions is required. However, it will be done if at all required only after controlling your current infection.
I feel, you need to be hospitalized for this complication at the earliest.
