What Causes Intestinal Adhesion After Appendix Removal?
My mother in law has burst appendix removed along with part of her bladder and intestine, a week later anther op because her intestines had fused , she has has little more than 3 mouth full of food in two weeks and not much more two weeks before , she was sick again Tonight same as before the second op,She is 81, how long can she live like This, hate to see her like this
Post operative adhesion can happen after major abdominal surgeries. You can go for a CECT abdomen to know the severity of the condition. If there is bowel obstruction, revision surgery may be required.
