What Causes Intestinal Bloating After Gallbladder Removal?
I have unexplained bloated/descended stomach everyday... Flat tummy in the morning and begins to bloat when I get up... Doesn t seem to matter what i eat or drink. Been going on three years now... Had gallbladder removed cause it wasn t function to capacity. This was not the answer for the bloated stomach. Endoscopy and colonoscopy didn t show anything unusual. Allergy testing so I know what foods to avoid and have been gluten/dairy free but still no improvement. I workout out pretty hard and have often thought maybe stomach muscles tight and could be problem. As u can tell I don t know and am frustrated!!
The bloating can be related to gallblader removal. Bile's job in your digestive tract is to break down fat. Prior to digestion, your liver stores the bile in the gallbladder. There it becomes more concentrated and more effective at fat disposal. Without a gallbladder to allow for that extra concentration, bile loses its function. So, I suggest to consult your gastrologist for supplements that can substitute the biles function. Meanwhile, I suggest using Simethicone medication to relieve the bloating.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
