What Causes Intestinal Cramping, Anal Bleeding, Occasional Fever, Nausea And Diarrhea?
hi, I have been having intestinal cramping some bleeding in my anus, occasional fever, nausea, and occasional persistent diariah, these usually all happen in flashes/episodes at a time, where I can be going about my day and then I suddenly get this lower intestinal cramping, and back pain. after words I will be really tired and I have noticed blood sometimes in the toilet or on the toilet paper, can you please tell me what is going on with my body?
Your symptoms may be due to any inflammatory / infectious cause of colon or rectum. Ulcerative colitis may be one of the possibility. Any benign or malignant neoplasia / polyps may be one of many reasons. You are advised to go for a colonoscopy to confirm / rule out the cause and also for the biopsy from any suspected lesions to know the pathology of the lesion.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Satnarain Bansal, General & Family Physician
