What Causes Involuntary Head Movement After Clearing Ear Wax?

Hi, sometimes I feel like my head is moving when I am not moving, but not like the room is spinning or anything like that. I had my ears flushed and all of the wax removed because my ears were half blocked by that. Flonase, nasacort, Claritin, and Zyrtec didn t help. Any idea?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is quite common and it is due to pressure changes in the inner ear problems. Generally it will settle by itself.

As a first line management you can take drugs like betahistine for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persists better to consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
