What Causes Involuntary Jolts In The Body After Choking On Food?
My friend was eating his dinner while admitted in the hospital for a leg injury/infection and he choked on a bite of food. It blocked his airway and they were not sure how long he went without oxygen, long enough to turn blue and die for a bit. They brought him back to life but he is using a breathing aid and is unconscious. He is constantly jumping and jolting uncontrollably. Why?
