What Causes Involuntary Movements In Head While Recovering From Stomach Flu?

My 10 year old granddaughter is having unusual symptoms of involuntary movements of her head. Like spasms and her facial expressions change during these spasms. She had been sick with a stomach virus for a week and was just now getting over it. She is pale, no fever but complains of neck pain and says it feels stiff. she is having these spasms like she cant control it.
