What Causes Involuntary Movements In The Limbs?

Recent ER visit by husband, with very low blood sugar, (47), not concious, involintary limb movement, unresponsive to rescue squad or to me. We were told he may need to see endocrinologist. We need to make appt asap, hopefully at IU West, Avon, IN. Can you recommend someone?

SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR HUSBAND.

Symptoms you describe typically match with seizures. however further detailed inv will be required like

whole body, or 1 limb affected
history of seizures
associated with aura
loss of consciousness or regain
diabetic or not

hypoglycemia is a CAUSE of seizures.

following inv will be required
MRI brain to see any damage
random blood sugar.
cbc with ESR

please follow up with nearby doctor for detailed evaluation
