What Causes Irregular And Heavy Menstruation?

Hi, I have recently been diagnosed with a buildup of the uterine lining causing irregular and heavy bleeding. I will be having a hysteroscopy and endometrial ablation in a little less than 2 weeks. My doctor prescribed Provera 10mg a day for me until the surgery. My heaviest bleeding is usually in the morning and I take my pill at 9am. The bleeding usually subsides around 12:30 noon or so, then its more or less light until i go to bed. He said I could take 2 one in the morning and 1 at night, to help the bleeding in the morning. Im worried about taking 2 pills as this is a hormone. Can you please give me some advice??

Hi, I think you can take 2 tablets in morning to control the bleeding. It is not harmful. It may cause some nausea. But otherwise it is fine. So, don't worry about it.
