What Causes Irregular Bleeding After Taking Norgest?

im 39 years and have been taking norgest for the last 2 years I have been facing with irregular bleeding inspite of d and c done twice over the past 6 years with report all being normal.....I finally found a doc who prescribed norgest which got me releif there is no irregular bleeding also pain is reduced aong with bleeding ....Iwould like to konw if its harmful in any way.....

Hello,

It does not have serious adverse effects, just common ones which are harmless. Yet, you need to see a doctor if you have upper abdominal pain, jaundice, leg swelling with pain, chest pain or vision problems. Have yearly routine check up and blood investigation. Do not smoke.
