What Causes Irregular Bleeding During Periods?

Hi it is around the time my period should be due (not too sure though) and two days ago I had very light pink spotting, then a little bit of brown discharge, then yesterday nothing at all, then today I wake up and I'm bleeding. My periods are never like this. Am I pregnant?
