What Causes Irregular Heart Beats With Increased Blood Pressure?

yesterday i had 226 heart bpm, it only happened for about 7-10 minutes, my blood pressure also went up to 166. In a matter of minutes my heart went back to 74 bpm and my blood pressure to 100.This has happened 4 times in my life, but they lasted no more than 5 min. Last time this happened was about 7 years ago, i went to the doctor and he said i was very healthy and there was nothing wrong with my heart. I'm 27 years old.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

After going through your medical details I understand your concern for your health and I would like to tell you that heart rate and blood pressure is ever changing phenomena which depends on your activity level, emotions and physical factors.

If you are not hypertensive or diabetic then these symptoms can be related to your physical activity or emotional state which doesn't require any treatment but calm your self.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
