What Causes Irregular Light Menstrual Bleeding?

Hello. Long story short: I was 5 days late for my period. When I got my period I did not know if it really was my period or not. I had to push it out some. This lasted for 3 days. My period usually lasts 4 days. The blood was resist pinkish, one time a white tissue looking thing came out of me and when I tested myself it said I was negative 3 times. Help please.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Pregnancy tests detect the HCG hormone. This is detectable 11 to 14 days after conception.

If the tests were done after or around this time then they would be accurate and you are not pregnant at this time.

If there was a significant increase in abdominal pain or cramping with this three day bleeding that occurred then a miscarriage may have occurred and you should consider an ultrasound to take a look.

It may be best to see your doctor for an assessment.

I hope this helps
