What Causes Irregular Menstrual Bleeding, Spotting And Urinary Incontinence?

After my last period, I continued bleeding off and on for another week. Then I spotted for a few days. It finally stopped, then I just started my next period again. I m 51 and have experienced some perimenopausal symptoms like hot flashes occasionally, urinary incontinence every once in a while, etc. Do I need to be concerned about the extra bleeding?

indeed yes, a point of concern. The cause could be a simple harmonal disturbance to serious issues like carcinoma. So a Gynae check up with a simple investigation like endometrial biopsy and Pap smear is essential. This is a OPD procedure and available at all primary care centres.
