What Causes Irregular Menstrual Cycle Post Intake Of Norethindrone?
I am an final year medical student .One of my cousin took norethindrone tablet to delay her normal periods last month .This month her periods keep getting delayed for almost 10 days .This month she didnot take any pills ,previously her menstrual cycles were absolutely normal .Now what measures should be taken ?. And my second question is there any (progeterone antagonist) to advance the periods ?..Mainly these questions for my learning purpose..

She does not necessarily have to do anything. The use of hormonal medication can off set the menstrual cycle, but since her cycles were previously normal, they should return to normal within 1 to 3 cycles.
Primolut is sometimes used to start a delayed period.
