What Causes Irregular Menstrual Cycles?

plz i want to know why my monthly cycle is out of order last month it came on the 6th of september and until know it didn't come i did the pregnanet test and there is no baby and today i started to see some blocks of blood so i thought it will come today but it passed about 10 hours and nothing yet So can u help me about what to do ?????
