What Causes Irregular Menstruation After Taking Morning After Pill?

Had just gotten off my period and had sex, condom broke, took morning after pill the next morning, and started another really bad period around 2 1/2 days later, and now i havent had another in almost 2 months, but took a preg test and it came out negative. is this normal?

Hi,
I understand your concern.
The morning after pill contains high dose hormone which causes disturbance in hormonal cycle of menses.
The period remains irregular till the normal pattern of hormonal cycle is reset,
You have to be patient/ careful till then.
