What Causes Irregular Menstruation After Tubal Ligation?

i started a brown discharge 5 days ago. i started having blood clots coming out yesterday. (day 4) .. I have my tubes tied. my last period ended 16 days ago. went to the ER last night and they said they could not find anything wrong. what do i do? should i be worried?
