HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Periods can be affected after a history of using hormonal contraceptives but not normally for this period of time.

The effect would not last for years after the last dose.

There are other causes of delayed periods such as : (a) polycystic ovarian syndrome
(b)perimenopause- time period before menopause
(c)emotional stress or illness
(d)physical illness
(e)high levels of prolactin
(f)thyroid disease

Blood tests for hormones and imaging of the uterus and ovaries may be needed if you wish to determine the cause.

I hope this helps
