What Causes Irregular Menstruation Upon Ceasing Birth Control Pills?
My 18 year old daughter was having her period twice a month After trying a few different birth control pills she finally had one that worked and kept it regulated After taking it for about 6 months She was also taking Diclofinac for pain and swelling in her knee During a follow up visit she had high blood pressure Her OBGYN told her she was going to have to change her BC pills once again Upon doing this her cycle went back to being irregular First having her period twice a month to having her period every 4 to 5 days lasting 5 to 6 days. PLEASE HELP!
Usually, the menstrual cycle is maintained via particular hormone content of The contraceptive when it is consumed on regular basis. The change of oral contraceptive pills, stopping it or consuming other NSAID along with that alters the homeostasis of hormone levels and give abnormalities of the cycle.
