What Causes Irregular Menstruation When Diagnosed With Ovarian Cyst?

Hello Dr,last 3months I missed my period so conducted a pregnancy test but it was negative, I consulted a doctor and he asked me to go for a pelvic scan which I did but the test confirmed that I have an Ovarian cyst on my left ovary.the doctor gave me Zincovit tablets and Primolut N, I took it and the following month I had my period. But last month (July) 23rd I missed my period again and I have conducted a pregnancy test is negative. So does that mean that the cyst is still existing? And if it is then what medicine can I take to cure it. Please help me Doctor.

Hello,

Following are the cause of irregular period: Hormonal imbalance, an emotional problem like stress, ovarian cyst/PCOS, change in lifestyle and dietary habit, thyroid disorder, etc.

I advise you to consult the gynecologist and get the done following investigations: reproductive hormone analysis, thyroid hormone, ovarian follicle study, USG scan, etc.

Management depends on the cause. The period can be induced by medroxyprogesterone after proper evaluation.

Do regular exercise like walking and medication early in the morning for 45-60 minutes, healthy diet and fresh fruits.
