What Causes Irregular Menstruation While On Fertomid?
Hello doctor, I am having irregular periods so I went to gynaecologist and he suggested to take dephostone for 5 days and when I got my period after taking tablet he called me for sonography as I have PCOD and thyroid so doctor suggested to me to take fertomid 50 for 5 days and fifth day again call me for sonography , I just wanted to ask this tablets will help me to get my periods regular or help me to get pregnant soon???

The ultrasonography shows the presence of PCOD. PCOD is a syndrome wherein the ovarian follicles do not mature fully for maturation. PCOD is also associated with difficulty in conception.
The treatment prescribed will help in successful maturation of the ovum and thus successful conception. The maturation of follicles is monitored by serial ultrasonography.
