What Causes Irregular Menstruation While Treating PCOD?

Hello doctor.. iam 21 years old female and i have a irregular periods... i met my doctor and she said that i have a pcod problem She given me ovacet tablet...please tell me does ovacet regular my menstrual cycle I want to under control my pcod and my hormones by taking ovacet...i have a hair growth on my face beacuse of imbalance hormones and irregular periods please tell me does ovacet can remove or balance my pcod???

Thank you for your query.

Yes ovacet can help reduce testosterone levels (which causes excessive hair growth) and regulate periods.
It does not have a direct action on period control. So if you don't have regular periods with ovacet, you may need to see a fertility specialist to check for other issues.
I recommend :
-blood tests (complete blood count, thyroid function tests, fsh, lh levels, lipid profile)
-ultrasound abdomen
-follicular study

Some of these tests are required if you are trying to get pregnant, else just some basic tests.
