What Causes Irregular Menstruation?

I slept with my boyfriend last june 19th and the 20th. Last day of my period was 19th so we weren t using any protection and I don t take pills. I m using the app called monthly cycles and it says there that I should have my period next 7 days but I started bleeding since yesterday. Is this normal?

So once in a while, slight irregularity in the dates of menses is acceptable. However, if it becomes too frequent or late , then you require an evaluation.
