What Causes Irregular Period Along With Pain And Tightness In Chest?

I am 27 years old. I have been under alot of stress the last few weeks. I just ended my menstrual a week ago and started another one that was worse on monday. I have a very tight chest pain that has been sharp and dull throughtout this week thus far. Today it is a sharp pain. Am I having a heart attack? Is my stress level affecting my body?

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Light chest pain can be due to various reasons. The pain can be due to anxiety, can be muscular pain etc. Possibility of respiratory or cardiac disease is unlikely at this age. I suggest you to relax and then observe. If the pain does not resolves then you may consult your primary health care provider.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
