What Causes Irregular Period, Black Discharge And Hot Flushes At Night?

Hello, hope you can help. I am 40 years of age and have recently been experiencing irregular periods (where as I used to be regular). I have a dull ache on right hand side and I know I have had a cyst there before. occassionally I get black discharge too. I am experiencing really bad hot flushes and also in the night time too..... I know it can be a sympton of menopause, but hopefully I am too young for that!!! Can the hot fluses also be caused by a cyst?
